Take the bracelet out of safety mode by pressing the safety button. Place your fingers behind the clasp and pull firmly to break the capsule. Within seconds, the extremely foul scent is released, deterring attackers and alerting people nearby.

Use this moment of confusion and distraction to create distance and get away safely.

Only use the Invi Bracelet in threatening situations where you need to protect yourself and other options, such as escaping or calling for help, are no longer possible. For example:

Yes, the Invi Bracelet is legal to carry and use for self-defense under European law*. The bracelet contains no pepper spray or chemical agents classified as weapons or harmful to health. Invi’s defensive scent is designed to interrupt aggression without the risk of permanent injury (for either the attacker or victim).

The Invi Bracelet is intended only for direct threats. As the user, you remain fully responsible for careful and responsible use.

Irresponsible use of the bracelet and its gas-like scent may lead to unintended (financial) consequences, such as:

• Damage to clothing or other property, including third-party belongings

Despite the bracelet’s non-violent nature, an attacker may still react aggressively. This risk can never be fully excluded. Carrying and using the Invi Bracelet is entirely at the user’s own risk.

The Invi Bracelet features a patented safety mechanism that prevents accidental activation while in safety mode.

The safety button may occasionally be pressed by accident. Don’t worry, a very specific second action is still required to actually activate the bracelet. If the bracelet is not in safety mode, press both sides of the holder toward each other until it clicks back into place (see also: video manual).

1. First, move to a safe place.
2. Remove the bracelet from your wrist.
3. Take off any contaminated clothing and go into fresh air.
4. In case of skincontact: wash with soap and water.
5. A used Invi Bracelet may continue to smell for weeks. Place it inside an empty water or soda bottle and close the cap tightly to stop the scent.

Yes, the Invi Sport and Invi Bold are fully waterproof, so you can swim and shower with them.

After a beach day, we recommend rinsing your Invi Sport or Bold with fresh water to remove salt and sand.

For Invi Classic, we recommend limiting water exposure. Splashes are fine, but swimming and showering are not advised. Too much water may weaken the leather strap over time and affect functionality.

So far, no issues are known when taking the Invi Bracelet on a plane. Schiphol Airport customs advises carrying it in an airtight plastic bag, placed in a shock-resistant spot, and only in checked baggage.

Please note: airlines and countries may have their own rules. Carrying the bracelet on a plane is always at your own risk.

The scent capsule inside the bracelet is single-use, but if you ever need to use it for self-defense, you’ll receive a new bracelet free of charge. With Invi’s lifetime warranty, we’ve got your back.

Follow these tips to keep your Invi Bracelet reliable and functioning properly in any emergency.

• Check the strap regularly for damage and replace it in time
• Limit water exposure for the Classic
• Avoid hard drops or impacts. If your bracelet has taken a hard hit, contact us to replace the scent capsule

If the bracelet does not fully open when pressing the safety button, dirt is usually trapped between the moving parts.

Step 1: Press the safety button and pull the metal parts apart until the capsule becomes visible. Click it closed again and repeat this several times. This helps loosen dirt. Use a cloth if needed to remove the dirt.

Step 2: If that doesn’t help enough, apply one drop of silicone spray where the metal parts slide over each other and repeat step 1.

Yes, over time the straps of the Invi Sport and Invi Classic may wear out.

These straps are made of plastic and leather respectively, so long-term use can cause wear. This may affect it's functionality, for example if the strap breaks before the scent capsule snaps. This does not apply to Invi Bold, which has a steel band.

Do you notice visible wear, damaged leather, or other signs of weakening? Contact us. For €19, we replace the strap so your Invi Bracelet can last for years again.
